Metal detection process
Most food manufacturers will conduct metal detection scans on their food products in order to detect any unwanted materials within the product. However, not all metal detector systems are identical and are capable of picking up different kinds of metal, so you need to know what kind of detector and plaster you will need.
Non-ferrous material
Where food products or its packaging do not contain any kind of metal, then standard metal detectors capable of detecting ferrous and non-ferrous detectors are ideal as you will be able to use metal detectable plasters which contain an aluminium strip. X-Ray scanning
