Klipspringer's new indelible marking service presents a fantastic opportunity to take traceability to the next level.  

As an innovative service which is completely new to the industry, there are understandably a number of questions.  Here we answer some of the most frequent queries.

By using the latest laser marking technology that irreversibly changes the molecular structure of the surface without physically scarring or burning.
No - once the process has been completed, it is impossible for the mark to be removed.
No, both etching and engraving physically remove the surface while indelible marking leaves it unscathed but with clearly defined colour change. Hygiene is not compromised – there are no additional bug traps.
Due to the processes involved, we can’t normally offer this service on equipment purchased elsewhere, however if you have a specific request, please contact our sales team to discuss your requirements.
Indelimarking is charged per item, with significant cost savings for multiple items being marked. In some instances, the cost can be influenced by how much and how big you require the mark(s) to be – please speak to our sales team for an accurate quotation for your requirements.
There is no minimum order for indelible marking.
Please allow between 5 and 7 working days from date of order for your IndeliMarked equipment to be delivered.
To the best of knowledge no other company offers this service in-house and our investment supports our claim to lead the market.
Colour differentiation varies depending on the material and base colour of the article. Predominantly it will show as grey/silver
No, the article surface remains intact.
No ink or other substance is used in the indelible marking process. The mark is created by laser, changing the molecular structure of the plastic or metal in the area marked.
As nothing is added to the product during the process, the material properties of the utensil being marked stay the same.  

Wherever possible marks are made on areas of the product not used for constant food contact, such as handles.
An area of up to 10x10cm can be marked at a time.

There are restrictions on the size of utensil/equipment that can be marked (eg maximum 300mm high).  For more detail please discuss with the Klipspringer team on 01473 461 800.
All marking is completely bespoke - the only limit is really your imagination!
